Engaging

Today was my first day doing volunteer hours and I was there from 3:30-5PM but since my client arrived at 4PM as planned, I only put down an hour since that is how long I helped her. My client’s name was Lee Schultz and she needed help with downloading books onto her iPad on from the “Kindle” app and also sharing books with her daughter through the “iBooks” app. All she knew was that she had books on hold and checked out from the Wethersfield Public Library and she needed to access them and download them onto her iPad. So, I had to sort of get answers out of her so I could help her by showing her around and little puzzle pieces started coming back to her and as they came back, we solved the puzzle. After I helped her with everything she needed help with, she was so satisfied that she wanted to pay me money but I said no.
